Warehouse Photographic Studio for Hire in Sydney
Studio 1 Warehouse Photographic Studio is our largest studio, situated on the top floor of Sydney Prop Specialists, offers a floor area of nearly 300m² and a ceiling height of 4.5m.
Light and airy with loads of character, this 100 year old warehouse space, with its exposed roof rafters, rough distressed timber walls, original unpolished timber floorboards, corrugated cladding and original sash windows, offers great texture and a variety of usable natural lighting conditions – and has room to move, or build a set. With conveniently located kitchen, large change and makeup rooms, excellent toilets and showers – Studio 1 is well equipped for lengthy shoots that require good preparation space and comfort.
RATES
Day Rate: $975.00 + GST
10 Hours (8am – 6pm)
Half Day Rate: $550.00 + GST
4 Hours (8.30am – 12.30pm / 12.30pm – 4.30pm)
- Cleaning / Damage Waiver Fee: 5%
- Weekend Surcharge: quote on request
- Includes load in and load out times
- Operation of this studio outside these hours is available on request.

- Accessed by stairs in two locations
- Blackout drapes available for windows
- 3 phase power – 2 x 32amp, 5 pin, 3 phase power outlets – there are banks of regular power points and power distributed throughout the space
- Spacious makeup room, change room, toilets and showers
- Air-conditioned
- Wifi available.
- Loading dock available.
- All day street parking
- Kitchen / prep area equipped with dishwasher, commercial fridge and coffee machine
- Clothing racks and steamers

Propped-Up Sets
Props available at 50% off the normal rate!
PROPS
Props are available for hire. Ask for a quote. We also have flattage, drapes, fabrics, lights, furniture etc.
We also have staging crew and trucks available.
As part of your studio hire, we offer 50% off the prop hire rate. Exclusions do apply, including if additional crew is needed to move props or setup studio space (minimum charge is $150.00).

CATERING
Blend66 is our preferred local cafe for catering. They have an extensive menu and their prices are reasonable. Located nearby at 49 Carrington Road, they can deliver food piping hot and have online ordering.
