Beach

Warm fine sand meets the cool inviting water. Blue skies above the horizon stretch endlessly onward. A lifeguard tower stands sentry and the evidence of childish effort dots the sand around- buckets, spades and carefully built sandcastles. A more relaxed and indulgent scene is close by - deckchairs and shady umbrellas surrounded by a colourful array of exotic sea shells. Holiday is in the air and a beach hut bedecked with sea shanty flotsam stands to provide refreshments and the tasty morsels by the sea. The day stands still....until a pod of playful dolphins appear to cavort among waves, cresting and plunging with fluid shimmering grace.
